Work Visa Vietnam

Foreign nationals who wish to work lawfully in Vietnam must also acquire a Vietnam Work Visa. You must prepare a number of documents for submission with your Work Permit application, but your employer in Vietnam must do it on your behalf.

You must get ready to send a number of documents to your employer when they apply for a work permit in Vietnam

  • Medical Certification. In order to work, you must get a health certificate from your home country stating that you are in good health.
  • Criminal History Record Statement. You must have a Police Certificate that was given within the last six months by the authorities in your nation and certifies that you have no criminal history.
  • evidence of your professional experience. You must provide proof of your employment from previous employers in the form of paperwork.
  • a copy of your credentials and degrees.
  • recent passport-size photos that meet the standards for Vietnam visa photos:
  • Dimensions: 4 x 6 cm
  • captured recently
  • a light background
  • You must be in the centre of the image, looking forward with a serious attitude.
  • You may maintain your wig or religious headgear in the photograph, but you must also wear it when you arrive.
  • You should not be sporting any eyewear.
  • The following papers must also be submitted by your employer:
  • The application for a work permit in Vietnam
  • The Committee's approval of your work contract, allowing them to hire foreign personnel
  • Their Certificate of Business Registration

The relevant authorities in your nation must notarize and legitimise any documents you get there. Before being filed, the documents must be translated into Vietnamese by the Justice Division of a District People's Committee branch or a Vietnamese notary service.

Eligibility- Work Visa

If you fulfil the requirements listed below, you may be eligible for a Vietnam work visa

  • You are older than 18 years of age.
  • You are in good health and do not currently or have any past criminal charges You will be employed in Vietnam in a managerial or executive position or as an expert who possesses the required technical skills and knowledge for the position.
  • You meet the requirements in terms of education and experience to fill the post.
  • You have at least 3 years of executive-level or above work experience.
  • You are employed by a corporation in Vietnam under a contract.
  • The employer can demonstrate that despite advertising the position to Vietnamese nationals, it was not successful in finding a local candidate (ie. they put up the job advertisement notice in a newspaper or online site).
