  • A request letter from the host organization to Guyana's Main Department for Immigration and Nationality Affairs
  • Business license of the inviting business
  • The TIN Certificate of the inviting business (Taxpayer Identification Number)
  • A written agreement between you and the inviting business
  • When an international or intergovernmental organization extends the invitation: Verbale note from Guyana's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  • Journalists: four Letters of support from the Guyanan government's communications office or ministry of foreign affairs.
  • You may submit materials electronically in the following forms, up to a limit of 2MB each: JPEG, JPG, PNG, BMP, GIF, or PDF. The PDF format does not support your picture or the scanned image of your passport.
  • On the condition that they are readable and in a supported format, you are also permitted to upload photos of your passport and yourself, according to the website of Guyana's Main Department for Immigration and Nationality Affairs.
  • Note that this is not a complete list of the needed paperwork. The documents you require will be listed when you must attach them if you apply online. If you plan to apply at a Guyanan embassy or when you arrive, you should contact them in advance to find the precise criteria.
