The Greece Study visa, also known as a Type-D visa with study as the primary motivation or objective, enables its bearer to travel to Greece to pursue higher education there. The holder of this certificate is permitted a maximum of 365 days of residence in Greece.

  • If the programme you want to enrol in requires that you have a sufficient command of the Greek language in order to register, the appropriate educational institution will conduct the necessary checks and issue the corresponding certificate, which must be presented to the appropriate Greek consular authority.

  • An active passport: A passport must be valid for at least three months following your return in order to be deemed valid. Additionally, it must still include two blank pages.
  • 2 passport images that meet the requirements.
  • Applicants must have travel insurance with a minimum EU 30,000.00 coverage.
  • A cover letter explaining why you are travelling to Greece and making hotel reservations
  • Booking a flight that includes a return trip
  • monetary means of support. You must show evidence of any scholarships you may have earned for your education.
