Hungary Student Visa

Any foreign student who wishes to enrol in a higher education programme in Hungary must first get a student visa. The primary prerequisite for receiving a Hungarian student visa is being accepted into a Hungarian university before beginning the application process.

Documents you need before you apply for Student Visa Hungary are listed below

• Genuine passport Include a passport that is current and original and has two blank pages for stamps. Your passport must have been issued in the last ten years.
• Application for a visa. Give the appropriate authority the completed student visa application form together with accurate information.
• Photos the size of a passport : Include two recent images with your application, taken no more than six months ago. Attach one picture to the application and add the other to the paperwork. Photos must adhere to Schengen regulations.
• Medical protection: If the university in Hungary offers medical insurance, it should be specified in the invitation letter. If not, you must submit documentation from your travel insurance demonstrating that you have at least €30.000 set aside to cover medical costs. The health insurance must be active throughout the entire Schengen Region.
• Acceptance letter from the university. The letter should include information regarding the start date of classes and payment details (if applicable).
• Evidence of accommodation : The invitation letter must make mention of any accommodations provided by the Hungarian University. If you are required to provide housing for yourself, you must produce a rental agreement with the building's owner and a property document that was issued within the previous month.
• A receipt for the fee. The "Stipendium Hungaricum" state scholarship does not apply to students who have received it.
• Monetary situation : Each applicant is required to submit a translated bank reference and six-month bank statement.
• Students should also send a letter from the university (written in English or translated into English), together with the person in charge's signature, stamp, and the address and phone number of the educational institution. You should include a sponsorship letter from your parents confirming they will cover all expenses if there is a financial hardship.
• A replica of the following papers:
• Passport pages include your signature and personal information.
• A copy of every Schengen visa you've received in the previous three years. Identity card, if necessary.
• Schengen Health Insurance for Travelers.
• Airline ticket.
• English translation of a marriage certificate that has been notarized. (If appropriate)

Process- Student Visa online

• Fill all your application form details and passport details.

• Then you have to pay the fees which will be displayed on the screen.
• Once the application has been accepted and validated, the applicant will soon receive an application number so they may continue with the fee payment. The applicant will be informed of any missing documents if there are any.

Process- Hungary Student Visa by Embassy

• Accept a request from a university in Hungary. Only those who are enrolled in Hungary's higher education institutions are eligible to apply for student visas. You can move on with your student visa application once you've received your acceptance letter and invitation.
• Set up a meeting. Make an appointment for your student visa by contacting the closest embassy or consulate of Hungary. Three months before your trip to Hungary, you can schedule an appointment.
• The steps for applying must be followed. Complete the application form and include any necessary supporting documentation.
• Get a response. Await the embassy's response about your visa request. Usually, the embassy will send you a text or email to let you know.
