Tourist Visa for Malaysia

There are tight restrictions on who can visit Malaysia and how long they can stay there. While some foreigners can travel to Malaysia for brief durations without a visa, others must first apply for a tourist visa. Additionally, there are other ways to visit Malaysia except using a tourist visa. A pass issued by the immigration official at the Malaysian border is also required for quick visits with friends and family.

Documents Required to apply for Tourist Visa Malaysia are given below:

  • In Malaysia, document requirements can differ from country to country. E-Visa: Visa companies in different countries may ask people who apply for a visa by document for different kinds of information, or they may not ask at all in some countries. This could be different depending on the laws and rules of that country or state.
  • A copy of the passport with 6 months left on it - You cant move on to the next steps and terms without having the Eligibility criteria checked off. Images should be clear and show the poses that were asked for. The government of Malaysia says that anyone who wants to get an e-visa to go there should keep the terms they ask for and follow the instructions they give.
  • A copy of the picture that fits in a passport. You must have at least 5 to 6 passport-sized photos of yourself, or sometimes less, that can be seen clearly from the front. This is so that the photo can be checked to see if the person in the photo taken by the camera is the same as the passport-sized photo.
  • Along with the above documents, a copy of a childs birth certificate is also needed if they are between 0 and 13 years old. Along with the other documents, birth certificates are important for kids. For proof, kids should always have their birth certificates with them. If they dont have their birth certificate, their Visa may be turned down.

  • You must have a reason to visit the country that is both legitimate and honourable.
  • You must have the financial resources to support yourself and any dependents during the entire stay in order to be eligible to shoulder all costs.

  • You must be of good character and have no history of criminal activity. For the same, you might need to present a PCC (Police Clearance Certificate).
  • Being in good health means that you must at least satisfy the authorities minimum standards for health.
  • You must truly enjoy travelling and want to discover the nation. You must demonstrate your intent to visit by showing that you have already made the necessary travel arrangements.
