Document Required for Martinique Visa

Application Form completely filled out in English, signed, and dated by the applicant (signed by both parents in case of minors, below the age of 18)

Your passport must be valid for at least three months after the date you leave Martinique.

Signed by bearer

Not more than ten years old (issued in the last 10 years)

At least one or two "visa pages" that are free.

Photos that are not damaged and are securely attached to the passport

Photo \sNEW! Should be no more than six months old.

A frontal view of the face, which takes up between 70 and 80% (32 to 26mm) of the photo.

A white background that is uniform.

Face and eyes are visible, not hidden by hair or a frame for glasses.

3.5x4.5 size

The copy of your ID card must be valid for at least three months after the date you leave Martinique.

Residence Permit/Visa Copy (if your country of residence and citizenship are different)

At least three months after the date you leave Martinique, the passport must still be valid.

Reservations for flights (return ticket)

Valid (existing) hotel reservation or booking with the full address (name, street, city, zip code, contact information, booking ref.)

Letter from a local sponsor or employer (Proof of Occupation)

This must be in the letter:

Name, mailing address, and phone number of the company or sponsor

Information about the applicant's job, when the job will start, and how much they will be paid.

The length of work leave (when you're expected to get back to work) and the reason for travel

Copy of a valid business licence and proof of who owns the company (if a person is an owner of the company).

Letter from College (if student)

A copy of the sponsor's valid passport and, if they have one, their residence visa must be attached to the letter from the sponsor (if an applicant is a dependent)

Proof of being able to pay

Statements from your own bank from at least the last three months before you apply, personal property, assets, etc.

Medical Insurance

It should cover you for the whole time you plan to stay in Martinique and must cover you for at least 30,000 €.

Documents that show why you want to go on a trip

For travel:

Verification of the place to stay (hotel confirmation, apartment rental contract, etc.)

For travel for business, congress, or sports: Original letter of invitation from the company or organisation

For a private visit, the person who invited you must have the original letter. If you are going to stay with someone, this is the original document that proves they own the property (home).

Copies of the person's passport, ID card, or permit to live in the country Original letter from a company in Martinique inviting you to work for a short time.

Verification of the place to stay (apartment rental contract, hotel confirmation, etc.)

For Children:

Copy and English translation of birth certificate, proof of adoption, custody decree if parents are divorced, or death certificate of parent. If you are travelling alone, you will need a letter of permission from your parent(s) or legal guardian(s).
