Tourist Visa- Mexico

Foreign nationals who are required to have a visa must have one in order to enter Mexico on a tourist visa. Tourist visas for Mexico are only valid for travel, business, visits, cultural and sporting events, and other non-paid activities. All international visitors to Mexico must obtain a Mexico Tourist Card in addition to a tourist visa, regardless of their nationality.

Documents required to enter Mexico are listed down

  • Cover letter for the embassy of Mexico. The letter must include information on your trip, including the dates of entry and departure, your lodging arrangements, and an explanation of why you are travelling.
  • Mexican visa cost
  • Passport-size pictures, with the following Mexico specifications:
  • Recent – no older than six months
  • Dimensions: 35 mm x 45 mm
  • Colored
  • Taken in front of a white background
  • Neutral facial expression
  • No glasses or headwear

Process- Mexico Tourist Visa

At a Mexican embassy, you must apply for a tourist visa for Mexico. The following is the application procedure

  • The Mexico visa application form must be finished. The application form is often available on the website of the Mexican embassy where you will submit your request.
