Singapore free transit facility Visa

Singapore has a deal with some nations that demand visas. According to this arrangement, some tourists who are passing through Singapore are permitted to stay in the nation for up to 96 hours. The Visa-Free Transit Facility is what this is known as (VFTF).

The following countries' nationals may use the visa-free transit facility:

  • Cooperative Union of Independent States (CIS)
  • Georgia\sIndia
  • China's People's Republic (PRC)
  • Ukrainian and Turkmenistan At their port of arrival, nationals from those nations who believe they qualify for the VFTF

must present their case to the Singapore Immigration Services (ICA). The ICA examines the application and makes the final decision regarding the traveller's admission to Singapore. They have the option to decline. You are only permitted to exit the transit zone and remain in Singapore for a maximum of 96 hours if you are granted this particular Singapore transit visa. There is no possibility of extending the time. Be careful not to overstay any form of Singapore visa because doing so is considered a criminal offence. The VFTF can only be used once, either on your outbound or inbound trip.

  • Japan

  • travel without stopping in the nation where the visa was issued
  • passage through Singapore.
  • Return immediately to your country of origin. You are qualified for the VFTF if you are from one of The Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Georgia, Turkmenistan, or Ukraine.

  • You have a ticket for a flight that leaves in 96 hours that is still valid. You must show the ICA officers the following information when using the VFTF to request entry into the nation in either situation:
  • a passport that will still be valid after you leave Singapore for at least another six months.
