Documents Required for Sweden visa

Sweden is a Scandinavian country with just over 10 million population. Norway borders Sweden to the north, Finland to the east, and Denmark to the south. Sweden also shares a border with Russia. The country has a total land area of 57,955 square kilometers, making it one of the smallest countries in Europe.

To visit Sweden, you will need a valid passport and visa. Your passport must be valid for at least six months after your planned departure from Sweden. You can obtain a visa online, at an embassy or consulate in your home country. The visa requirements are as follows:

  • Your passport must have at least two blank pages for your visa application;
  • You must arrive in Sweden on or before your visa expires;
  • You must have a return ticket;
  • You must have enough money to cover your costs while in Sweden;
  • You should not be carrying any infectious diseases.
