Thailand Marriage Visa

The term "Thailand Marriage Visa" refers to a Non-immigrant O Visa that is granted in exchange for getting married to a Thai native. This means that in order to enter Thailand, you must first apply for a Non- Immigrant "O" Visa at a Thai Embassy or Consulate overseas. You will now be given a 90-day visa that you can use to enter Thailand. Once you have a Thai Marriage Visa and have entered Thailand, you can then petition to have it extended to a year at the Thailand Immigration Department. However, anyone can apply for a Non-Immigrant O Visa—not just spouses of Thai citizens.
