How to apply for an Oman tourist visa extension?

If you are currently in Oman and the validity of your visa is about to run out, you may need to renew it and here you will require an Oman visa extension. The validity period of an e-Visa can be extended one time for a total of up to 30 additional days after it has been issued.

• To get an extension on your Oman visa, you will need to fill out the renewal application that can be found on the website of the Royal Oman Police.
• The procedure to reapply for the visa after it has expired is not overly complicated.
• The applicant must fill out the form, make an online payment for the visa fee, and then print the document.
• After that, you will need to visit the Royal Oman Police Visa office located closest to you with a copy of your passport and the printed form enclosed with it.

Be aware that you will not be able to get a visa extension if your passport has less than six months left on it. To enter Oman, you need to have a passport that is still valid and has at least six months left until it expires.
